Summary of Lost Child Class 9
It was a spring festival. People were very happy, wearing bright clothes, riding horses and carts, and walking to the fair. There was a little boy who went with his parents. He was full of joy and laughter.
On the way he saw toys, sweets, flowers, balloons, and a snake charmer. Every time he wanted to buy, he knew that his parents would refuse. So he quietly moved on.
At last he saw a roundabout and asked to ride, but when he turned, he saw his parents were gone. He looked everywhere, but he could not find them. He started crying loudly, “Mother! Father!” He ran in panic through the crowd.
One kind man picked him up and tried to make him comfortable. He also offers sweets, balloons, flowers, music, and even a ride. But the child refused everything. He only cried again and again, “I want my mother, I want my father!”
Moral of the Story: The story tells of the innocence of the child. In the beginning he wanted toys and sweets, but when he lost his parents, nothing else mattered. He only wants the love and safety of his mother and father.
