Yoga Class 12: Yoga is beneficial for mental and physical stress. WHO has also emphasised the role of yoga in prevention therapy. For this reason, the popularity of yoga will increase globally. CBSE gave an opportunity to the CBSE students to learn about yoga. CBSE planned a sequence of instructions consisting of units meant for developing employability and skills competencies of students of Class XII opting for the subject along with other subjects.

PRACTICAL GUIDELINES FOR CLASS XII
The two internal examiners are assigned for the conduct and assessment of practical examinations, each in the Senior Secondary School Curriculum (under NSQF). Questions for the viva examinations should be conducted by two examiners (one internal and one external). Questions to be more of a general nature, project work or the curriculum.
Procedure for Record of Marks in the Practical Answer Books:
The examiner will indicate separately marks of practical examination on the title page of the answer books under the following heads:
Project – 10 marks
Projects for the final practical are given below. Students may be assigned
Viva based on project – 05 marks
The teacher conducting the final practical examination may ask verbal questions related to the project, if any, done by the student. Alternatively, if no project has been assigned to the students, the viva may be based on questions of practical nature from the field of the subject as per the curriculum.
Practical File – 15 Marks
Students can make a PowerPoint presentation / assignment / practical file / report. The instructor shall assign them any outlet to study the elements in yoga.
