These voice recognition apps can be helpful for people living in remote areas, or who are usually unable to travel to a “big” city, such as Delhi or Mumbai, for help. These apps fill the gap by enabling people even at a distance to perform tasks like shopping, making reservations, or sending short messages to each other.

For example, Facebook uses machine learning to predict how many people will click on an ads and can generate a targeting list for each user. This is also called as “Deep Learning”. Some examples of machine learning algorithms are: linear regression, logistic regression, decision tree, neural networks, k-nearest neighbor and principal component analysis.

Machine Learning aids decision-making based on prior experience. Machine learning is an artificial intelligence area that allows computers to learn and improve without having to be explicitly programmed. Machine learning is the process of developing computer programmes that can access data and learn on their own.
