One of the most important roles in the IT-ITeS industry is domestic data entry operator. This profession is responsible for entering, updating and managing the data accurately. A domestic data entry operator helps the organisation maintain records, process information and manage databases efficiently.
Due to globalisation and digital transformation, the IT-ITeS sector increased rapidly. Companies around the world depend on this technology for communication, business operations, customer support and information management. Nowadays, globally, we have large volumes of data to manage. For this, we require time and skilled workers. Many of the companies outsource these services to specialised organisations.
Domestic Data Entry Operators are also known as ‘Data Entry Operators’. These data entry operators are responsible for providing daily work reports and work on an hourly basis. Data entry operators are also responsible for electronic entry of data from the client site onto the office site or vice versa. The CBSE textbook for the job role of “Domestic Data Entry Operator” has been developed to impart knowledge and skills through hands-on learning experience, which forms a part of the experiential learning. Experiential learning focuses on the learning process for the individual.
